A variety of useful plants have sprouted up in the botanical garden! For your character to recognize them, they must roll a lore of one. Alternatively, if your character has worked in an apothecary in their background, they will be able to recognize the apothecary plants.

Ederlin tree
The giant tree that grows in the center of the botanical gardens. Its branches are laden with golden fruit, and each fruit glows with a soft light. It’s said that as long as it’s well taken care of, its presence strengthens the growth of other plants.

Crystalfruit
This small, white round fruit grows from bushes. The fruits would look almost like eggs, if not for the small crystals that seem to sprout from its surface. These crystals are actually chunks of salt that can be harvested and used on foods. The fruit itself can also be eaten, but it’s quite salty, has a tough texture, and is in general rather unpleasant to eat on its own.

Apothecary Plants
Note: Plants marked with an asterisk* require the apothecary to be completed before certain effects can be used.
Alorel's grace
Redbloom*
Unicorn's blessing*
This blue flower was said to have been created when a unicorn touched its horn to a common weed. When distilled with tools from a completed apothecary, it can act as the antidote for any poison. The antidote must be used right away, as the effectiveness fades an hour after distillation. There are only a few blooms, however, so it’s best not to pick them all at once without getting a nature mage to refresh their numbers.

Spineberry
Belgo
This plant has a garlicky taste, and an unpleasant sour smell. It can give you quite the stomach ache when eaten, but is believed to have the power to treat a wide variety of diseases far worse than a stomach ache. Not all the diseases it can treat are known, but when someone has an infected wound, or a sore throat that won’t let up, Belgo is always issued as a treatment.

noro noro fruit
Many travelers know about noro noro fruit, particularly in its dried form. It was originally a popular travel food in Dethi, but quickly spread to other regions due to its ability to grow in great multitudes in noro noro trees, and due to its nutritional value, and its filling nature. It's said that one can live on noro noro fruit and water alone. When dried, noro noro fruit can last for months, and still retain its healthful benefits. Despite this, many still turn their nose up at eating the fruit due to its incredibly bitter taste
